SHIPPING POLICY

RideWize operates the website www.ridewize.co.za. By placing an order through our website, you agree to the terms and conditions mentioned below. These terms are designed to ensure that both parties are aware of and agree to the agreement so that we can provide a satisfactory service and protect the interests of both parties.

1.  General​​​

Please note that our product inventory is subject to availability. While we strive to keep our website up-to-date with accurate stock counts, there may be instances where we are unable to fulfill all the items in your order due to a stock discrepancy. In such cases, we will ship the available products to you and reach out to discuss whether you would like to wait for the back ordered item to be restocked or receive a refund for it.

2.  Shipping Costs

 

​Shipping costs are determined before checkout and are based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the items in your order. The prices shown on the RideWize website include the shipping cost for delivery to South Africa. However, if you want to ship your order to any other region, the shipping cost will be quoted manually upon request. The payment for shipping will be collected along with your purchase.

3.  Returns

3.1  Return Due To Change Of Mind

  •  

  • RideWize accepts returns due to a change of mind, provided that we receive a return request within 14 days of you receiving the item. The product should be returned to us in its original packaging, in a resellable condition, and unused. Please note that the customer will be responsible for paying for the return shipping and arranging the shipping themselves.       

  • Once returns are received and accepted, refunds will be processed to store credit for a future purchase. We will notify you once this has been completed through email.

  • RideWize will refund the value of the goods returned but will NOT refund the value of any shipping paid.

 

3.2  Warranty Returns

  •  

  • If you need to make a warranty claim, RideWize is here to help. We'll gladly honor all valid warranty claims, as long as you submit your claim within 90 days of receiving your items.

  • To begin the process, you'll need to cover the cost of shipping the items back to us, but don't worry - we'll reimburse you if your claim is successful.

  • Once we receive your items, we'll process your warranty claim within 7 days. If your claim is confirmed, you'll have a few options to choose from. You can receive a refund to your payment method, store credit, or a replacement item (if available).

 

4.  Delivery Terms

4.1  Transit Time Domestically

  • Domestic shipments generally take 2-7 days to reach their destination.

4.2  Transit time Internationally

  • The transit time for international shipments can vary greatly depending on the courier service you select. Typically, it takes 4-22 days. We can provide a more precise estimate when you choose your courier at the checkout.

4.3  Dispatch Time

  • We usually dispatch orders within 2 business days of receiving payment. Our warehouse operates from Monday to Friday during standard business hours, except on national holidays, when it remains closed. In such cases, we take necessary measures to ensure that any shipment delays are minimized.

4.4  Change Of Delivery Address

  • If you need to change the delivery address, we can do so at any time before dispatching the order.

4.5  P.O. Box Shipping

  • We ship to P.O. box addresses through postal services only. We do not offer courier services to these locations.

4.6  Military Address Shipping

  • We regret to inform you that we do not offer courier services to military addresses.

4.7  Items Out Of Stock

  • If an item is out of stock, we will wait for it to become available before dispatching your order. Meanwhile, any existing items in the order will be reserved. 

4.8  Delivery Time Exceeded

  • If delivery time has exceeded the forecasted time, please contact us so that we can conduct an investigation.

 

5.  Tracking Notifications

  • After dispatch, customers will receive a tracking link to monitor their shipment's progress based on shipping provider updates.

6.  Parcels Damaged In Transit

​

  • If you receive a damaged parcel during transit, kindly reject the parcel from the courier immediately and contact our customer service team. If the parcel has been delivered to you in your absence, please get in touch with our customer service team to determine the next steps to be taken.

7.  Duties & Taxes

7.1  Sales Tax

  • ​Sales tax has already been applied to the price of the goods as displayed on the website

7.2  Import Duties & Taxes

  • However, for international shipments, please be aware that import duties and taxes may need to be paid upon arrival in the destination country. The specific costs vary depending on the country, so we encourage you to research and be aware of these potential expenses before placing an order with us.

  • If you decide not to pay the duties and taxes required when your goods arrive at your destination country, then the items will be sent back to you at your own expense. You will receive a refund for the value of the goods minus the cost of the return shipping. However, please note that the initial cost of shipping will not be refunded.

8.  Cancellations​

If you decide to cancel your order, please do so before it has been dispatched. If your order has already been dispatched, our refund policy will apply.​

9.  Insurance​​

​

Parcels are insured for loss and damage up to the value as stated by the courier.

 

9.1  Process for parcel damaged in-transit

If your parcel is damaged during transit, we will initiate a refund or replacement as soon as the courier completes their investigation into the claim.

9.2  Process for parcel lost in-transit

If your parcel is lost during transit, we will initiate a refund or replacement as soon as the courier conducts an investigation and confirms that the parcel is lost.
